A lot of brave people died. Glad she and others somehow made it through.

Thanks for this Moe. We (myself included) get bogged down in political this & that, & then we get the priviledge of such a story. The wonderful thing is that people like her exist today, & will exist as long as God has us on this earth. She was & is still a hero, someone we can aspire to be like.

Thanks for this and also lets not forget that teacher from Kansas. Its amazing what teaches can accomplish and unearth when they are not teaches kids anti-American propaganda. When I was that age I was getting another lesson on how Christopher Columbus was really a genocidal racist.

She was, no doubt, endangering her life to do what she did. It makes whatever we do in our daily lives pale in comparison.

She may have died but her memory will live on in the countless retellings of her story!
